About Prague and Czech Republic

About CTU in Prague


Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) is a large, over 300 years old research-oriented university. It is among the leading technical universities in Europe. Education and research at CTU covers a wide range of fields of engineering. At present, there are over 24000 students at eight faculties.

The university campus is surrounded mainly by diplomatic residences and thanks to its location close to the Prague Castle, to the historic city centre and to the Prague international airport, the university constitutes the perfect place for both business and leisure travelers.
